But if you speak to him about it afterwards, you sense that the dialogue may have a broader significance, that it is about a more general situation. Certainly there is a conversation about love in the manner of a couple (since you left me I don’t feel the same
), but there is a sense that this may be an allegory, that the roles aren’t so defined.
